Speed test, Morzine

Becoming a ski instructor is not easy. As well as technically being able to ski, together with the skills to be able to teach, you also have to pass a speed test. This involves finishing within approximately four seconds of the openers, some of whom have raced at world or european level. No mean feat! A friend of mine, Jon Dunn, was there to face this challenge and we were there to support him on the Pleney slope. Unfortunately he did not get it, but he did come 8th out of 78 contenders, a fantastic achievement, missing it by 0.8 seconds....oh so close! I was there to capture Jon in action and looking good.
